My Story

Grace Leigh Ryser

Grace was born and raised in Sandy, Utah where she grew up doing two things avidly- playing soccer and making art. Today, she has continued to create art for herself and others, finding work in the arts, AND playing soccer in multiple adult leagues. She has certainly been blessed with life-long passion for what she does.

Grace graduated from Utah State University in 2015 with a BFA in Drawing and Painting. She has since studied under a professional mural artist and a professional faux-finishing painter. She spent 4.5 years at Harmons at Traverse Mountain painting signs fulltime, which included typography, portraiture, and fun pop-culture references. Since then, she has finished converting her mini bus into an art studio/RV and has traveled around the west for various Art Festivals.

In 2018, Grace attended the University of Santa Monica where she studied Spiritual Psychology, a passion discovered in her early 20s along with cognitive therapy, trauma work, energy work, and somatic work. She has spent a lot of time as a Healing Coach and loves to apply therapy and healing concepts to her artwork.

Grace spends a lot of her time outdoors: hiking, swimming, camping, rock climbing, running around with friends and family, or traveling the states in her studio on wheels, always searching for inspiration that this beautiful world has to offer. She also spends a good amount of time indoors, learning how to rest, reading spiritual psych books, and planning her next move. And of course, we can’t forget, still playing soccer two times a week.

"I looked for God and I found only myself; I looked for myself and I  found only God."

-Gialal al-Din Rumi

Artists are Healers

Art is an act of resistance and a reminder there is still beauty in the world.

And darling, we need your art now more than ever.

Go make something.

Do you have the courage to bring forth the treasures that are hidden within you?
